So close.. as the days draw closer to that date, the anticipation I have in my heart starts to kill me. No not the mid years.. something more important. Waaaaaaay more important. I lived this year for this. Rennaissance XV is coming... and i have been practising more then i have been studying.. cos its tt great..
Reasons why we all love rennaissance...
1) Great band performing..
2) Really cool repertoir most of the time..
3) Good showmanship from players
4) A uber funky alumni section!!!!! featuring CJC's star trumpeter, two genius from central band who play flute and make everyone else look bad, one tuba player who looks like the laughing buddha, the tallest trumpeter in the world, the saxist who acts innocent but is a major player, both with music and with girls, MY KID BRO WHO IS PRETTY GOOD AS A PLAYER TOO, and the concert master, who happens to be an Eb clarinetist, king of the high register and one of the many soloist that night, namel moi.
yah. Rennaissance is gonna be quite simple this ytear due to some politics. but good musicians can play simple songs and make them sound sophisticated.
